Garlic Still Life

A new work on paper. A small, loosely painted still life that packs a punch.

Ongoing lockdowns in early 2021 mean that I have lost my studio space....this has meant working from home in acrylics so that I don't intoxicate the family with fumes from linseed oil and mineral spirits! The last two weeks have seen me do quite a lot on paper. It feels different and makes me work differently too. I like the fact that it makes shipping easier and cheaper for clients.

This is painted on A4 paper with a border. The paper was coated in gesso before painting.
