This little painting has as its subject The Angel sculpture by Benjamin Victor. In this series about finding light and hope I have often turned to images of angels. I am drawn to them because of their wings. Wings for flight, for take off. Wings are a visual cue about when we ourselves find LIFT…find some kind of rising up above something that is pulling us down or holding us back.
