A memory cloaked painting of dusk in West Texas. Last September I visited a friend who has a ranch out West - the land of big sky and vast horizons. This image was captured by my husband, while we were unpacking her dreams for her newly built studio. To me it is a painting that is hopeful and optimistic due to the way the studio is lit up like a lighthouse with everything around it fading into darkness.
