A few years back we lived in Germany on the Swiss border, near to Basel. One of our favourite haunts was the Vitra Design Museum and Vitra House which was one of the few free museums/galleries to visit. Rooms and rooms full of beautiful furniture and designs. This yellow couch was a favourite to spend a lazy Sunday afternoon on. This painting catches just such a moment in time ....
