Last summer, I did not get to take much holiday, and spent most of my time painting at home in Germany. It was incredibly hot and we had incredibly dramatic skies. Huge clouds and beautiful colours. This is part of a series of skyscapes started last august painting en plein air. In this one I discovered a new colour - pyrrole orange.
